When Pattison Hospital needed a complete entrance matting upgrade, Canada Mats provided a custom-engineered solution designed to enhance safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal throughout the facility’s main and secondary entryways.

Our team removed all existing mats and installed custom-cut CM Viper 8950 and Gateway Recessed Well Matting systems — both known for their exceptional durability and performance in high-traffic commercial environments. Each mat was precision-cut at our facility to ensure a perfect fit for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The CM Viper 8950 Indoor/Outdoor Scraper Mats feature a looped dual-fibre construction that efficiently scrapes away dirt and debris while absorbing moisture. Their coarse yarn texture and random-faced pattern make them ideal for the hospital’s busy entrances, combining functionality with a clean, upscale aesthetic suitable for healthcare facilities. Built with bouclé yarn for maximum resilience, these mats withstand all weather conditions and maintain slip resistance even under heavy daily use.

Inside the facility, the Gateway Recessed Well Matting system was chosen for its open-grid vinyl design, which effectively removes and traps soil and moisture beneath the surface. Its heel-proof and wheelchair-friendly construction ensures accessibility and safety for all visitors and staff. The addition of carpet inserts further improves traction and enhances the hospital’s interior design with a professional finish.

Description

CM Viper 8950 Mats Indoor/Outdoor Scraper Matting are constructed of a looped dual fibre material to absorb moisture and efficiently scrape away debris with its coarse yarn texture. These non slip mats are ideal for moderate to heavy use in commercial environments.

CM Viper 8950 Mats are among the toughest of entrance mats and have been manufactured producing a well distinguished feature for this mat. With a random faced pattern that can withstand the continuous dirt and moisture throughout the day. While being extremely durable, it conveniently accommodates all high-end hotels and foyers with its upscale aesthetic.

With a blend of only coarse material is what makes these CM Viper 8950 Mats unique, using a specific type of blended bouclé yarn construction produces a durable fibre. With this in mind, the CM Viper can withstand all weather conditions, allowing it to be suitable in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Custom sizes mats are produced according to the dimensions provided. If edging is selected as yes, the edging will be incorporated in the size provided. If no edging is selected, the mat will be cut to the exact size provided.

Please note that due to contraction and expansion of material with temperatures, there may be a variance of up to 1 inch.

All Standard size mats are produced with edging.
