The underside of Floor Defender Pro Garage Containment Mats features a tatami grain pattern for increased traction. Also, the tatami grain patterned backing produces a smoother, less wrinkled surface than the smooth backed regular Floor Defender Garage Containment Mats.

"So I am getting these emails to review the mat which I understand they are eager to get a review. But it's summer so I haven't used the mattress yet so I can't give a complete review. I will say that the box arrived with the matt as promised and I am shocked how small and portable the box is given the size of the matt I ordered. "I've had the mat now since the end of October 2025. Delivery was good and the mat came in good condition. Has done the job through the winter. I'm disappointed with the wrinkles and creases that are cured into the mat because of how it was packaged. I understand that the rolling and folding is necessary for shipping, I just think that the mat was packaged too soon after production and the material was not allowed to cure before it was packaged."

"I have to say its been a great way to keep my garage free of water everywhere. Unfortunately it came with Velcro stickers that never stuck to the floor. It was a royal pain to try and stretch them out. Its also hard to keep them from moving around. There very durable and thick. I hope they find a better way to secure them to the floor. Last thing is, they are always out of stock of the smaller sizes"
"Buying and shipping was a breeze, the mat does it's job in retaining water and dirt, but even after a few weeks on the floor with radiant heat under it, the wrinkles looks horrible. I tried hot water, hair blower, just can't take wrinkles off. . . vinyl material is just too hard to stretch."
"The mat came rolled up in a bag and box. When I finally got to unroll it from the box it was somewhat difficult to get it to lay flat. I suspect it will take some time for this to lay flat. It is still winter here so it is holding the water fine with no issues. Fits my small truck very well. It will fit a regular sized truck fine."
