The 1.5” thick premium handwoven coco doormats are the best of the bunch, pack the most amount of coco fibre in a tightly handwoven shape.
These mats are made by taking eco friendly coconut husk fibres and hand weaving them together, making each mat one of a kind. These sustainably produced mats pack twice the amount of fabric as the BR quality mats into the same space, making them dense and luxurious. These doormat will immediately elevate the look of any doorway.
PThese 1” thick handwoven coco mats are a scaled down version of the Premium handwoven coco mats.
With the thickness being the major difference, these mats also feature a handwoven braid around the edges and are made entirely out of sustainably produced coconut husk fibers (a by-product of the coconut harvesting industry). Perfect for spaces that require a lower clearance, these mats can revitalize any doorway.
The ultra thin and modern version of our coco doormats are made by embedding the eco-friendly coco fibers into a PVC vinyl backing. The fibers, standing up, are sheared at a 5/8” thick height. This creates an even and attractive surface level that is extremely effective at scraping away dirt and debris from the bottom of shoes.
The vinyl backing also provides an added level of skid resistance and prevents water from leaking through to the bottom.

"The handwoven coco mat I bought from Canada Mats is terrific: just what I wanted. However, I ordered it on May 28 and it didn't arrive until August 7. That's 70 days from order to delivery. That part is awful."
"Not as high as i hoped but should work. Recommend with that reservation. My old one had higher pile."
"Beautiful quality coco mats!"
"Excellent quality. Think and sturdy mat. Well made and a gorgeous colour!"
"Super durable and functional. Dirt is trapped beneath where you will sweep it up. The home is so much cleaner!"
"These are very well-made and attractive mats. I bought two in 2022 thinking I’d need to replace them every year. They held up so well, I just replaced them now in January 2025."
"Love it. Feels good under shoes/boots, looks good, and hoping it'll stop shedding after a season or two like the description - but it's barely shedding as is. Would order again without hesitation."
