All court surfacing installations require a properly prepared subsurface prior to installation. A concrete or asphalt base is recommended, and in some applications (excluding pickleball and tennis courts), a compacted stone base may also be suitable.
A thermal expansion gap is required for all installations to allow the tiles to naturally expand and contract with temperature changes. We recommend allowing 1 inch of expansion for every 8 ft. of court surface.

Q: What type of base is required for installing Outdoor Basketball Basecourt Tiles?
A: Our basketball tiles should be installed on a preferably level concrete, asphalt pad, or compacted stone base pad for best results.
Q: Can Outdoor Basketball Basecourt Tiles be installed on a grass base?
A: No. Basketball court tiles are not suitable for installation on grass, as the uneven surface will affect stability and durability.
Q: Can Outdoor Basketball Basecourt Tiles be installed on a rubber surface?
A: No. These sport court tiles are not compatible with rubber surfaces and should only be installed on hard, level bases.
Q: Is it safe to drive over Outdoor Basketball Basecourt Tiles?
A: No. Driving over the basketball court flooring can disengage or damage the tiles. They are designed for sports use only.
Q: What other suitable sports we can use the Outdoor Basketball Basecourt Tiles?
A: Along with basketball court floors, these versatile sport court tiles can also be used for volleyball, roller hockey, and badminton. They are not recommended for tennis or pickleball.

There are two parts to the inter-locking system:
All tiles on any given installation should always have the female loops going in the same direction. (Illustration 1)
CAUTION: If you inadvertently rotate a tile 90 degrees it will snap into place (Illustration 2)but you will not be able to complete the installation properly.
It is important that all debris be removed from the underlying surface before laying tiles,
eliminating lumps.
ASSEMBLY
Always begin the installation in one corner. Pointing the female loops in the direction that
additional tiles are to be added. (Illustration 3)
DIRT, SAND, DUST, DEBRIS REMOVAL AND GENERAL CLEANING:
Once a year during down time (one day) of facility you may want to power wash, power blow (commercial leaf blower) vacuum, scrub (with commercial grade floor scrubbing machine that dispenses water or cleaning agent and vacuums it up). Do not use soap. Power washing would be based on grade of asphalt sloped for drainage and water had a way to drain out of facility court area.

"The Product is pretty cool and our son loves it. However during installation we had some issues interlocking tiles of different colors. The video shows the installers hammerring with a rubber mallet, however i think it would be best to slowly lock them and use your body weight to hear the click. thanks,"
