A: For best results, hockey tiles should be installed on a preferably level concrete, asphalt pad, or compacted stone base pad. This ensures stability and long-lasting performance.
Q: Can Hockey Sport Tiles be installed on a grass base?
A: No, Hockey Sport Tiles are not suitable for installation on a grass base.
Q: Can Hockey Sport Tiles be installed on a rubber surface?
A: No. Hockey Sport Tiles is not compatible with rubber surfaces and should only be installed on hard, level bases.
Q: Is it safe to drive over Hockey Sport Tiles?
A: No, driving over the tiles can disengage or break them. It is not recommended to drive over Hockey Sport Tiles.
Q: Can the tiles be used outdoor?
A: Can be used outdoors but not recommended as a permanent outdoor installation because weather over time may damage the tiles.
There are two parts to the inter-locking system:
All tiles on any given installation should always have the female loops going in the same direction. (Illustration 1)
CAUTION: If you inadvertently rotate a tile 90 degrees it will snap into place (Illustration 2)but you will not be able to complete the installation properly.
It is important that all debris be removed from the underlying surface before laying tiles,
eliminating lumps.
ASSEMBLY
Always begin the installation in one corner. Pointing the female loops in the direction that
additional tiles are to be added. (Illustration 3)
