Description

Introducing the '27mm TOP CLEAN STABIL XL Entrance Matting System,' featuring an extra-wide profile and a combination of heavy-duty grooved rubber and cassette brushes. This aluminium matting system is designed for deep recessed matwell installations in large-scale, high-load commercial and industrial settings. The grooved rubber efficiently cleans outdoor areas (zone 1), removing dirt before it enters the building. Enhanced with alternating cassette brush profiles, it effectively removes foot-borne dirt like sand and grit, boosting its cleaning capability.

With a 27mm height, this extremely durable entrance mat can handle significant load capacities. The extra-large profiles efficiently collect dirt while providing a comfortable walking surface. Customizable in any width and length, our Top Clean aluminium mats feature an 'open structure' that allows dirt and moisture to fall into the matwell recess, minimizing indoor dirt accumulation. Advanced rubber inserts at the base ensure anti-slip and noise reduction. This visually appealing, extra-large, and robust entrance mat guarantees years of outstanding cleaning performance.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To ensure the optimum performance of the mats, please read the following instructions for installation and care. Like any floor covering subject to heavy use, our Entrance Matting Systems benefit from a regular cleaning regime; the optimum frequency of cleaning depends on the specific traffic rate and the degree of soiling.

Regular Cleaning: Clean the surface of the aluminium profile
mat regularly with a vacuum cleaner. Set the vacuum cleaner to its
highest setting.
Cleaning in the event of heavy soiling: When heavily soiled, roll
up the mat after vacuum cleaning and remove the dirt that has been
collected in the frame.
Cleaning in the event of extreme soiling: Extremely dirty matting can easily be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. After the cleaning process, put the mat in a vertical position for quick drying. Return dried mats into the mat well. Your entrance mat will be fully functional again.
Replacing single ribbed carpet strips: Individual tread inserts can
be replaced when heavily contaminated or damaged. New inserts
can be fixed into existing aluminium profiles using double-sided
adhesive tape. Customers can replace damaged inserts themselves.

Replacement of Ribbed Carpet Strips

Bad soiling and objects such as cigarette butts and chewing gum as well as oil stains can severely impair the cleaning function of entrance mats.
For this reason, we have developed a method for replacing badly soiled ribbed carpet strips. The used ribbed carpet strips are detached from the
aluminium profile of the mat, so that residue and dirt can be removed from the base frame. A self-adhesive tape is attached to the back of the new
ribbed carpet strip, which is then fixed in position.

Frequently asked questions

The ramped edge frame is the ideal solution for surface mounting entrance matting, where no matwell is present. All of the Top Clean matting with 10mm or 17mm heights can easily be equipped with ramped edge profiles. Entrance mats resting on ramped edge frames provide accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

It is not absolutely necessary, but it is recommended. It protects the edges of your floor covering and it rounds off the overall appearanc

We have two 2 types of frame:

STAINLESS STEEL, 15 X 20 X 3 MM, WITH ROUNDED EDGES

SPEZIAL ANGLE FRAME 15 ALUMINIUM, 15 X 20 X 3 MM

We recommend using any of these 2 SPEZIAL angle frames for the installation of all Top Clean matting systems to ensure optimum fixation and easy release for cleaning purposes. Frame, corner connections and screws are made of one material, stainless steel or aluminium, to prevent corrosion. Frames are mitre-cut and ready for screw connection.

For all multi-part Top Clean mats without connectors in the profile direction. This help simplifies the laying of the mat, especially after cleaning.

All frames and mats are made to order. For special shapes (incl. gaps, curves or diagonals), templates or measurement may be required.

0.7 mm must be taken into account from the pit size to the external frame size, as the corner connectors of the frame add extend. From the external frame size to the mat, 1 cm is taken into account for the expansion tolerance and 0.5 cm from the internal frame size to the exact mat size. For orders with exact mat sizes, the expansion tolerance must be taken into account by the customer.

For indoor use, ribbed carpet, brush strip, cassette brush or scraper bar are suitable, for outdoor use cassette brush, grooved rubber and brush strip. All designs are also possible in alternation.

Mats weighing 40 kg or more should be divided in the walking direction if possible. From a profile length of 300 cm, the mats must be divided in profile length, as otherwise they become too unwieldy and heavy to insert and maintain. Profile length divisions should be made outside the main traffic routes. Necessary divisions are included (without surcharge).

The fire protection classification depends on the upper material. Our ribbed carpet (fine ribbed carpet) and the grooved rubber correspond to the fire protection classification Cfl-s1.

Depending on the upper material, the mats have slip-resistant properties from R9 to R13 according to DIN 51130.
