We are excited to announce that we are an official sponsor of Vancouver’s Third Annual Eco Fashion Week. We will have Four 6 x 15 ft runners made from coconut husks (otherwise known as coir) placed at each of the media walls. Our eco-friendly coconut runners are made from fibres found between the internal shell and the outer coat of the coconut, once harvested the fibres are soaked in a slow moving body of water until they puff up, making them easier to weave into mats. Coir fibres are tough and waterproof making them ideal for doormats. Most doormats today are made from coir, or synthetic coir. Coco mats are quickly becoming one of the most sought after floor coverings and mixing them with one of the most stylish events in our city only seems right. This year’s show will be held at Gastown’s Storyeum from October 5-7th.
